Jon is married to Ruth and they have three children, Josh, Noah & Esther. Before moving to Cockfosters in 2018, Jon and Ruth lived in Cambridge where Jon had been on staff at Christ Church Cambridge. Jon trained for ordination at Oak Hill College and prior to that worked as a medical device engineer in Cambridge. Jon still loves making (and breaking) things and often has a DIY project on the go. Jon also loves travelling and enjoys playing almost any sport – especially tennis and cricket.
Associate Vicar - Small groups & Evangelism
James joined Christ Church in September 2016 as Associate Vicar, moving from Ongar in Essex where he completed his curacy. He trained for ordination at Oak Hill College so has returned to North London, although he is originally from Sydney, Australia, where he met his wife Tash. James and Tash returned to the UK in 2008 and have two young children. James loves Jesus, football and cricket (he is currently one of the lead wicket-takers of the London Diocesan Cricket team!) James is passionate about making disciple-making disciples of Jesus.
Curate - Seniors, young adults and Social Justice Ministries
Jon joined Christ Church in July 2017 after training for ministry at Ridley Hall in Cambridge. Before that he worked as a Retail Manager for Marks and Spencer and then at a charity in East London helping disadvantaged young people secure employment. He enjoys catching up with family and friends, reading, running and playing niche ‘sports’ like snooker and croquet. Jon oversees our 20s and 30s ministry, our seniors work, and coordinates our social action ministries.
David proudly hails from Bangor, Northern Ireland and before joining the staff at Christ Church Cockfosters, studied at the Royal Northern College of Music and worked freelance in Manchester. David is also Associate Music Director of New Irish Arts, a Christian arts organisation based in Belfast, which keeps him busy when he's not working for Christ Church. David plays piano, conducts, arranges and orchestrates but also enjoys walking, running and driving in the countryside - the more dramatic the scenery the better!

Beccy joined Christ Church in 1993 and is married to Mark. They have four children Martha, Rosie, Annie and Wilf. Originally working as a midwife in Bath and London, Beccy is passionate about managing her team of volunteers to create the warm welcome and spiritual hub of our community cafe, The House.
After Jesus, knitting, reading and cooking are high on Beccy's list of priorities.
Children and Families' Minister
Tom is married to Roo and they have a little boy, Moses. Tom trained and worked as a Speech and Language Therapist before moving into full-time church work. He worked as a Youth Worker at a church in Hertfordshire before taking up this role at Christ Church. He likes playing various different sports and relaxing with friends and family. Since marrying Roo, however, he's seems to have found himself spending a lot more time enjoying countryside walks and period dramas!
