Jonathon will be studying part-time at Oak Hill Theological College so he will divide his time between those studies and leading our youth ministry for 11-18 year olds. His main focus will be training, equipping and growing our team of youth leaders, supporting parents as they seek to disciple their children and seeking to reach out to the youth in the community with the good news of Jesus. He looks forward to getting to know the church family!
Associate Vicar - Seniors, Young Adults and Social Justice Ministries
Jon joined Christ Church in July 2017 after training for ministry at Ridley Hall in Cambridge. Before that he worked as a Retail Manager for Marks and Spencer and then at a charity in East London helping disadvantaged young people secure employment. He enjoys catching up with family and friends, reading, running and playing niche ‘sports’ like snooker and croquet. Jon oversees our 20s and 30s ministry, our seniors work, and coordinates our social action ministries.
Jon is married to Ruth and they have three children, Josh, Noah & Esther. Before moving to Cockfosters in 2018, they lived in Cambridge where Jon had been on staff at Christ Church Cambridge. Jon trained for ordination at Oak Hill College and prior to that worked as a medical device engineer in Cambridge. He still loves making (and breaking) things and often has a DIY project on the go. He also loves travelling and enjoys playing almost any sport – especially tennis and cricket.
Robert began attending Christ Church in 2019 and joined the staff team during the lockdown. He became a Christian after studying the Bible for himself, beginning at the age of thirteen. He is passionate about Biblical truth, encouraging Christian brothers and sisters to grow in their faith and in reaching unbelievers with the Gospel. Born in London but raised in Glasgow and Inverness, Robert has mysteriously acquired an accent that sounds suspiciously American!

Tom is married to Roo and they have a little boy, Moses. Tom trained and worked as a Speech and Language Therapist before moving into full-time church work. He worked as a Youth Worker at a church in Hertfordshire before taking up this role at Christ Church. Please do contact Tom if you'd like to know more about our children and families ministries here at CCC.
